I joined the Bloorcourt team in late May of 2025. From the moment I arrived, I've felt right at home with my team members in this supportive and caring environment. My passion for animals runs deep- l grew up surrounded by both cats and dogs, and they've always been a central part of my life. For over a decade, I worked as a dog trainer in my parents neighborhood (specifically working with puppies) and for two years managed a dog daycare here in downtown Toronto. But after many years of dreaming, I made the transition into veterinary care in 2023
At home, I share my life with my husband and our French Bulldog Levi, who loves coming here just as much as I enjoy coming to work! I've always been a creative gal; in my spare time you'll find me immersed in musical theatre, reading, consuming fantasy films (specifically re-watching Lord of the Rings for the 1000th time!) or embroidering. I've been operatically trained since the age of three and was a part of the Canadian Children’s Opera Chorus until I was a young teen, and then transitioned to being on Broadway! To this day singing remains a true passion of mine.
In addition to my love for music and the performing arts, I'm an avid classic cinema collector - particularly films from the 1920s to 1960s. I was going to pursue a career in film history but found the call of working with animals to be much stronger. And of course, my main passion in life is Halloween! I celebrate spooky season 365 days a year. In fact, I have Jack's house from The Nightmare Before Christmas tattooed on my left arm! Overall I am a blend of cozy, witchy, and totally imaginative, and I’ve got a lot of creative sparks!
I am very excited to have found a home here at Bloorcourt, and also excited to see what the future holds!
